Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of previous pastry experience
  • Prior fine dining experience
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills including presentation techniques
  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work single station in the kitchen
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills
  • Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Full-time availability including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts for fine dining and banquet services
  • Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency in all pastry items
  • Assist in preparing afternoon teas, buffets, and plated dessert services
  • Follow recipes and adapt preparations as needed for different events and guest requirements
  • Operate kitchen stations independently and support team members during peak hours
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pastry station throughout the shift
  • Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations
