Job Duties

  • Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
  • approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • maintain regular attendance in compliance with Avion Hospitality standards
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including wearing proper uniform and name tag
  • comply with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations
  • comply with certification requirements including Food Handlers and Safety
  • have thorough knowledge of menus and preparation standards
  • complete food and station preparations prior to opening
  • prepare and display buffet food items according to standards
  • maintain a post on the kitchen line during operating hours to prepare food to order
  • prepare food for Banquets following event specifications
  • prepare and service food for Associate Cafeteria
  • prepare all foods following standard recipes
  • break down buffets and kitchen line, storing food and equipment properly
  • work at banquet food stations as scheduled
  • know the location and operation of fire extinguishing equipment
  • practice safe work habits
  • be familiar with hotel policies and house rules
