Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
- approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with Avion Hospitality standards
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including wearing proper uniform and name tag
- comply with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations
- comply with certification requirements including Food Handlers and Safety
- have thorough knowledge of menus and preparation standards
- complete food and station preparations prior to opening
- prepare and display buffet food items according to standards
- maintain a post on the kitchen line during operating hours to prepare food to order
- prepare food for Banquets following event specifications
- prepare and service food for Associate Cafeteria
- prepare all foods following standard recipes
- break down buffets and kitchen line, storing food and equipment properly
- work at banquet food stations as scheduled
- know the location and operation of fire extinguishing equipment
- practice safe work habits
- be familiar with hotel policies and house rules
