Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • ability to lead and manage a team
  • strong knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to manage budgets and inventories

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise pastry culinary team
  • manage day-to-day operations of pastry kitchen
  • ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained
  • prepare and decorate pastries to required specifications
  • develop and train staff to improve skills and performance
  • manage purchasing, inventory, and budget control
  • ensure compliance with food and beverage policies and applicable laws
