Job Requirements

must be available to work 5 days a week including Saturdays and holidays
reliable, punctual, and responsible
hardworking and efficient
able to maintain good health and safety practices
willingness to help in different baking departments when required
ability to work the day shift
possession of a California food handling certificate
good basic math and communication skills

Job Qualifications

minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional bakery
ability to follow recipes and create new baked products
strong communication skills
good basic math skills
team-oriented with a positive attitude
creative mindset
knowledge of kitchen procedures and cleanliness standards
valid California food handling certificate

Job Duties

assist in the daily production of the baking and pastry department
follow recipes accurately and create new cake and baked goods products
maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
adhere to health and safety practices and procedures
support other baking departments when needed
communicate effectively with team members
work in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude and sense of humor
