Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in baking or pastry preparation preferred
  • Certified in food safety
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Willingness to wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment
  • Ability to adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred
  • Established knowledge of baking procedures and sanitation regulations
  • Mandatory food safety certification
  • Proficiency in basic math operations and numerical counting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to convey messages effectively in written and spoken form
  • Capability to manage physical tasks like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing

Job Duties

  • Create baked goods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Arrange work area with essential ingredients and tools needed for baking
  • Complete steps such as quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping to prepare ingredients
  • Handle baking instruments including ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • Use utensils safely and effectively during meal preparation
  • Observe food safety protocols for correct storage of goods
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils to maintain hygiene
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
  • Implement safety procedures adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Guarantee safety of corporate resources following security protocols
