Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous kitchen or pastry experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Basic food safety knowledge

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in pastry production or culinary arts preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and production instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Arrive to work on time in proper uniform
  • Communicate with Pastry Chef regarding pastry production for the day
  • Completion of pastry food production on the daily production prep list
  • Review daily production sheet and BEOs
  • Highlight food production completed on the BEO production prep list
  • Make sure recipes are being followed as well as portion sizes for food produced
  • Ensure station has proper sanitizing solution
  • Check that all food is labeled, dated and stored properly
  • Clean all equipment, tables and shelving storage in the pastry food production area including mats, sweeping, mopping and trash
  • Assist with food production team members in other kitchen areas as needed
  • Check out with Pastry Chef
