These events, which include children’s birthday parties and various craft classes, are designed to create a stress-free, engaging, and enjoyable environment for guests of all ages. The role demands a balance of creativity, organizational skills, and customer service expertise, as the Event Coordinator must ensure that each event runs smoothly and adheres to the company's high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. In addition to event management, the Event Coordinator supports daily store operations by assisting customers in shopping, providing product guidance, facilitating fast and friendly checkouts, and maintaining store recovery standards. The role also involves operational duties such as unloading shipments, stocking merchandise, and participating in inventory and safety procedures. The position requires a dynamic individual who is energetic, enthusiastic, and excellent in interpersonal communication, capable of engaging effectively with clients ranging from young children to senior adults. Job Requirements
- Retail and or customer service experience required
- Must have experience working with children and children’s events
- Excellent people skills

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards
- Communicate events with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed
- Adjust plans and events based on client's feedback and needs
- Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards set up, break down, and clean before and after each event
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
- Provide fast and friendly check out experience
- Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- Educate customer on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
- Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
- Participate in the truck un-load, stocking and planogram (POGs) processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
- remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations
- promote commitment to the organization's vision and values
- project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members
- Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms
