CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company operates iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, creating joyful and lasting memories for families through a unique blend of food, play, and fun. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment holds a significant place in the family entertainment industry. The brand is known for celebrating over half a million birthdays annually and is committed to safety through programs like Kid Check®. Beyond entertainment, CEC is deeply involved in community support, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America's Greatest Workplaces, highlighting its dedication to innovation and employee well-being. Part of CEC's mission is to create a welcoming atmosphere where every child can be a kid, emphasizing play and physical wellness through various attractions and activities that help strengthen motor skills in kids. The company operates with a culture that prizes diversity, inclusion, and fun, uniting families through shared experiences at their venues.
Currently, CEC Entertainment is hiring Party Hosts who play a pivotal role in maintaining the excitement and joy of every party event. Party Hosts are responsible for preparing party areas by setting up tables, taking orders, attending to guests, and ensuring that the birthday child and all attendees have an unforgettable experience. This position is ideal for individuals seeking either a first-time job or an opportunity to build an exciting career within a well-established company that promotes internal advancement. Over 60% of CEC's managers were promoted from within, showcasing the company's commitment to employee growth and career development. Party Hosts enjoy a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.90 to $17.90, along with an attractive commission structure that rewards sales of Memberships and Fun Passes. The commission can vary depending on whether the role is exempt or non-exempt but generally provides additional earning potential between $0.50 to $10.00 for each Membership sold, and between $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass sold, paid bi-weekly.
CEC also offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, providing employees with the flexibility of early wage access, eliminating the usual wait between paychecks. As a Party Host, employees must be energetic and enthusiastic, able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, and capable of standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and walking during their shifts. The work environment can include flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, emphasizing the need for resilience and strong interpersonal skills. This role requires excellent customer service skills and availability to work various shifts, making it suitable for individuals 15 years of age or older.
CEC Entertainment values its employees by offering a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support its workforce nationally. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees can opt into fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental, vision, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees, averaging 29.5 or more hours per week, receive access to extensive medical, dental, vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, flexible spending accounts (FSA/HSA), life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support. Furthermore, CEC complies with state and local regulations by providing paid sick leave and other mandated benefits.
Recognized as an Equal Opportunity Employer, CEC Entertainment fosters an inclusive work environment that embraces diversity across race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, and more. Reasonable accommodations are available to empower individuals with disabilities to perform their essential functions effectively. The company maintains rigorous health and sanitation protocols to protect both employees and guests, reinforcing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Joining CEC Entertainment as a Party Host offers a chance to be part of a talented team dedicated to creating fun, engaging experiences that bring families and communities together. This role is not just a job; it's a gateway to a fulfilling career where passion meets opportunity, backed by a company devoted to employee success and community impact.
