In this role, the Valet Associate manages the flow of parking for owner, guest, and associate vehicles within the garage and ensures that the parking area and associated equipment are maintained properly. Additional responsibilities include assisting homeowners with getting in and out of their vehicles, providing directions to local amenities such as parks, restaurants, and airports, and calling taxis or limousine services when requested. The associ ates regularly communicate with the concierge team to stay informed about important resident information and contribute assistance during peak periods.
The Valet Associate also plays a supportive role in property upkeep by reporting maintenance or cleaning needs to management, assisting with trash removal, snow shoveling, ice melt application, and placing or removing temporary walk-off mats before and after rain or snow events. Sometimes, this position involves helping with dog walking for residents and proactively assisting with package handling. The role requires a positive, professional attitude and adherence to appearance standards outlined by the Association and company policies.
This position is hourly paid, offering a salary range from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour. It requires a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record, given the responsibility of operating vehicles within the property. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Two years of customer service experience
- Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a professional environment
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as snow shoveling and assisting with walk off mats
