This role as a Shift Coordinator is integral to daily store operations, primarily focusing on event-related functions including the opening and closing of store events. The Shift Coordinator is responsible for ensuring adherence to warehouse standards that encompass safety protocols, exceptional customer service, product quality, smooth operations, and maintaining store cleanliness. Acting as both a role model and resource for other staff members, the Shift Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining high operational standards and fostering a supportive work environment. During breaks or events, this position also demands the ability to influence buyers positively through customer education, engagement, and enthusiastic promotion and demonstration of products.

Additionally, the position requires engaging Costco members through product demonstrations and education, assisting with food safety, sanitation, and conducting daily safety inspections. Reliable transportation to and from the work location is essential. Candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, be capable of working independently, and also possess strong team-building abilities.
