The role of Part Time Server at Kalahari Resorts is a critical position within B-Lux Grill and Bar, located within their expansive resorts. This position involves providing friendly, responsive, and personalized service that goes beyond expectations to create memorable dining experiences for every guest. The server acts as a representative of the Kalahari Promise, embodying the company’s core values daily by fostering a welcoming environment and delivering exceptional customer service. The Part Time Server will work collaboratively with the entire team, including servers, bussers, hosts, hostesses, and management, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow in a fast-paced dining setting. They are responsible for greeting guests, informing them about specials, recommending menu items, accurately taking and entering food and beverage orders, and delivering these orders promptly with attention to detail.

This position also emphasizes teamwork and flexibility, as servers are expected to assist their colleagues as situations arise to maintain high service standards. Proficiency in operating various systems, such as Micros terminal, phone, POS system, and beverage dispensers, is essential. While bi-lingual skills are preferred, they are not a strict requirement.
