Job Description
Right At School is a leading provider of before and after school extended day programs that support local school districts by offering enriching, disguised learning activities aimed at fostering student success. As an established organization committed to educational excellence, Right At School places a strong emphasis on creating environments where children can safely explore, learn, and grow outside of regular school hours. Their mission focuses on inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving families peace of mind by building a team of individuals passionate about child development and education. The company envisions expanding access to exceptional and affordable programs that benefit students, families, and schools in communities across the nation.\n\nThe Program Manager role at Right At School plays a pivotal part in realizing this mission by overseeing the smooth operation of these extended day programs. This is a position designed to start in the 2026-2027 school year, with a pay rate determined based on education and experience, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding expertise. Program hours are scheduled Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 8:45 am and 3:25 pm to 6:30 pm, fitting neatly around school schedules.\n\nIn this role, the Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety and joy of all participants by leading and supporting staff, maintaining compliance with licensing standards, and managing the documentation and operations at their program site. A key aspect of the role involves fostering a respectful and productive team environment through coaching and effective communication, ensuring that behavior policies and safety protocols are enforced consistently. The Program Manager will also engage with families, school partners, and peers to build strong relationships based on transparency and trust, responding to inquiries promptly and collaborating frequently with the Area Manager to align with program goals.\n\nDay-to-day responsibilities include monitoring student attendance with strict adherence to company policies, implementing activities that promote physical fitness and educational enrichment, and managing any risks to safety within the program environment. Candidates who excel in this position are those who bring experience balancing competing priorities, possess excellent communication skills, and maintain professional standards when interacting with students, parents, and community members. Familiarity with Google software or a willingness to learn is also important in supporting operational efficiency.\n\nRight At School offers a comprehensive benefits package that contributes to the overall wellness and financial security of its employees. The benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, pet insurance and discounts, supplemental insurance, and various wellness programs. In addition, employees can benefit from a 401(k) plan with company matching, legal and identity theft protection services, employee assistance programs, free or discounted childcare options, and additional perks such as professional memberships and ticket discounts. These benefits reflect the company’s investment in its team’s well-being and professional development.\n\nEqual opportunity employment is a foundational value at Right At School, ensuring all qualified applicants receive fair consideration regardless of race, age, sex, religion, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic under local, state, or federal law. This inclusive culture strives to create a supportive workplace for all team members dedicated to the shared goal of enhancing children’s educational experiences.
