Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum six months experience in cleaning or custodial work
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- physical capability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- willingness to work flexible part-time hours including weekends
- ability to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals properly
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more related experience
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- bilingual fluency in English and Spanish a plus
- good client and customer service skills
- ability to follow oral and written communications
- ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- ability to work effectively with a team and independently
- basic knowledge of cleaning products or willingness to learn
- must be reliable and report to work as scheduled
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize restrooms including sinks, fixtures, and toilets
- empty trash cans and replace liners
- wipe, dust, polish, or clean surfaces such as windows, mirrors, glass, seats, handrails, walls, counters
- vacuum, sweep, and mop floors and stairs
- clean seats and carpet with extractor as needed
- restock supplies in bathrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
- maintain cleaning equipment in a clean and safe condition
- communicate with management regarding supply needs
- follow safety rules for compactor and dumpster areas
- safely use chemicals according to safety data sheets
- perform other routine upkeep duties as assigned
