Located at 6677 Sea Harbor Drive, Orlando, Florida, Renaissance Hotels offers its guests an immersive travel experience, blending exceptional service with a vibrant local atmosphere. This commitment to excellence and cultural authenticity makes Renaissance Hotels a premier choice for travelers seeking more than just a stay – they want a story to tell. The hotel operates within Marriott International's standards, embracing diversity and inclusion by fostering an equitable workplace where associates from various backgrounds can thrive. This position is part-time with an overnight shift preferred, offering an hourly pay range of $26.92 to $33.65 along with eligibility for bonuses. The role is management-level focused on front office operations and guest services, including leadership responsibilities for the Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Front Desk teams.
The primary purpose of this entry-level management position is to lead and assist in ensuring the smooth execution of daily shift activities within the front office. This involves supporting the front desk team and overseeing guest service operations to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. The role requires a strong capacity to foster teamwork, guide employee performance, handle guest concerns effectively, and contribute to meeting operational and financial objectives. You will be involved in supervising staff in the absence of senior managers and play a key part in facilitating guest retention through excellent service delivery. This position demands excellent interpersonal and communication skills to serve as a role model, mentor, and leader within the team. You will support the achievement of the front desk's goals by ensuring quality standards and efficient operation, including training staff on procedures aimed at maximizing revenue and minimizing financial loss. Handling guest feedback, resolving disputes, and actively participating in departmental meetings to communicate objectives are critical components of the position.
Further duties include supporting human resource activities such as coaching, mentoring, appraising employee performance, and recognizing outstanding service behavior. You will assist in maintaining operational supplies and uniforms and utilize guest information systems to enhance recognition programs aimed at fostering repeat business. The role also involves analysis and problem-solving to address operational challenges, communicating effectively with all levels of the organization, and ensuring compliance with loss prevention policies. Renaissance Hotels encourages new team members who are spontaneous explorers and dedicated to creating exceptional guest experiences to join their vibrant team. Working here means becoming part of an inspiring global network committed to personal and professional growth, inclusivity, and excellence in hospitality.
