The Leasing Consultant role at Contemporary Management Concepts, LLLP is a vital position that involves leasing and pre-leasing apartments while providing exceptional assistance with resident relations. The Leasing Consultant acts as the face of the apartment community, responsible for welcoming potential and existing residents, answering inquiries, arranging property tours, and facilitating the leasing process. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills to handle lease documentation, credit reports, deposits, and move-in procedures efficiently. Leasing Consultants also play a key role in ensuring resident satisfaction by following up on maintenance requests and managing packages and administrative tasks. This job operates within a professional office environment and requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and filing systems.
In addition to leasing duties, the Leasing Consultant supports day-to-day operations by answering phone calls professionally, maintaining resident records, and responding to email requests promptly in line with company policies. Job Duties
- Answer telephones per company policy
- greet residents and prospects promptly with a friendly welcome
- complete guest cards on all prospects
- take all prospects on a complete tour of the premises
- follow up with all residents after a work order to ensure it has been taken care of to their satisfactory
- prepare lease applications, credit reports, credit worksheets, all lease documents
- communicate lease paperwork to new residents, receive deposits and record according to company policy
- complete move in packets for new residents, enter move in date on move in calendar
- call the answering service each morning for messages and respond in a timely manner
- check all email requests daily responding in a timely manner according to company policy
- accept and distribute packages from delivery services on behalf of the residents
- complete necessary administrative duties
- comply with Fair Housing guidelines and company policies
