We are seeking several part-time Kitchen Servers on an on-call basis for our Redwood City location. This flexible role offers the earning potential of $18.65 per hour, suited for individuals seeking additional income with varying hours each week depending on testing schedules. The Kitchen Server will be integral in the execution of Central Location Tests (CLT) and Quantitative Descriptive Analysis (QDA) studies. The position involves collaboration with Test Supervisors and Testing Staff to ensure efficient set-up, serving, cleaning, and breakdown during testing events.

The role is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments, excel in communication, and have organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience in customer service, market research, or kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work varying part-time hours on-call
  • Basic computer skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Willingness to follow detailed instructions and test plans
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on managing details
  • Outstanding listening and communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, and internet applications
  • Desire to learn and work collaboratively with others
  • At least one year of market research or customer service experience is a plus
  • Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is advantageous

Job Duties

  • Setting up the testing area as directed by the Testing Supervisor
  • Serving products during Central Location Tests and Quantitative Descriptive Analysis studies
  • Breaking down and cleaning testing areas after completion of tests
  • Collaborating effectively with Test Supervisors and Testing Staff
  • Communicating clearly and working well within groups
  • Lifting and handling items up to 25 pounds safely
  • Performing any additional tasks assigned by Testing Staff
