In the role of Store Cleaner at Kohl's, you will be an essential part of maintaining the store's environment to ensure it remains safe, clean, and welcoming for customers and associates alike. This position is critical to the overall operational success of the store, as it involves daily cleaning tasks across various store areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles. You will be expected to follow Kohl's best practices, standard procedures, guidelines, and methods strictly. Additionally, you will be responsible for using only approved chemicals, supplies, and cleaning equipment to ensure safety standards are met. As part of your duties, you will manage company-approved chemical and supply inventories by placing orders to replenish stock as needed and ensuring proper storage practices are observed. Basic maintenance of cleaning equipment is also required routinely, adhering to company guidelines. Training for chemical handling, equipment use, and maintenance will be provided and is mandatory to complete. Furthermore, you will effectively use Kohl's tools and technology to communicate and share information with the store team, supporting collaboration and efficient operations.

Besides cleaning responsibilities, the role also allows for contributing to other operational areas by supporting the receiving and processing of products, stockroom operations, and omnichannel fulfillment when needed. Engaging customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services is an important part of your interactions during shifts, helping to uphold Kohl's high standards of customer service. The position offers morning and evening availability preferences and requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
