This role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean, and inviting environment throughout the entire store. As a store associate dedicated to cleaning and operational tasks, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the store remain spotless and well-maintained. This includes cleaning floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles, and any other areas that contribute to the store's overall cleanliness and customer appeal. You will follow Kohl's best practices, standard procedures, guidelines, and methods to guarantee the store environment meets the company's high standards. Utilizing only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment, you will play a crucial role in preserving a safe space for both customers and colleagues.

In addition to cleaning, you will be tasked with monitoring chemical and supply levels, replenishing stock as necessary through well-organized ordering processes, and ensuring all materials are stored properly. Completion and maintenance of required training related to chemicals, equipment, and general maintenance are part of this role, ensuring you are always up to date with safety and operational protocols. Basic equipment maintenance following company guidelines will also be under your responsibility, alongside effective communication and collaboration with the store team through Kohl's technological tools.

Flexibility is key in this position, as you will support not only the cleaning operations but also assist the wider operations team with receiving and processing products, managing stockroom operations, and fulfilling omni-channel orders when needed. Customer engagement is an essential part of this role, as you will be expected to greet customers warmly and assist them with products and services when appropriate.
