Job Description
Asset Living is a leading third-party property management firm founded in 1986, with a nationwide presence dedicated to fostering thriving communities. Over the decades, the company has grown organically from a small property management business into one of the most trusted names in real estate management across the United States. Asset Living manages a diverse portfolio that includes multifamily housing, single-family home rentals, affordable housing, build-to-rent properties, active adult living facilities, and student housing divisions. Their commitment to innovation, excellence, and customer-centric service has positioned them as a preferred partner in the real estate industry.
This dynamic company embraces a culture built on diversity, inclusion, and teamwork. Asset Living’s core philosophy, "Together We Lead, Together We Succeed," reflects their dedication to empowering employees to lead by example, collaborate effectively, and continuously improve both individually and as an organization. Their workplace fosters an environment where each team member's voice is valued, creativity is encouraged, and professional growth opportunities are abundant. Recognized nationally as one of the Best and Brightest Places to Work and honored among the NMHC top 50 professionals, Asset Living prides itself on its supportive culture, ethical standards, and reputation for excellence.
The role of Housekeeper at Asset Living serves a critical function in maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and overall quality of the apartment communities they serve. The Housekeeper is responsible for daily cleaning and upkeep of public facilities, common areas, grounds, and vacant units in preparation for new residents. Working under the supervision of the Community Manager, the Housekeeper ensures that each apartment community is presented in immaculate condition, contributing to a welcoming and safe environment for residents and visitors alike. This role requires regular onsite attendance and involves responding promptly to both resident and management requests related to cleaning and maintenance.
The Housekeeper’s duties include cleaning make-ready units, removing trash, maintaining community offices and amenities, and ensuring community spaces are neat and orderly. In addition to these tasks, the Housekeeper helps enforce community rules, promotes positive resident relations, and supports the operational objectives of the property. Essential attributes for success in this position include attention to detail, strong communication skills, understanding of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements, and the ability to use onsite software and equipment efficiently.
Physical demands of the job require the Housekeeper to climb ladders, work in varied environments and weather conditions, lift objects up to 25 pounds, and work flexible hours including weekends and nights as needed. Asset Living offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16 to $17, depending on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive compensation package. Full-time employees benefit from medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, performance bonuses, paid sick days, and company holidays.
Joining Asset Living means becoming part of an innovative and supportive team that values your contributions and fosters professional growth. The Housekeeper position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and who thrive in a community-focused working environment. Asset Living’s commitment to its people and partners makes it a standout choice for candidates seeking a meaningful and rewarding career in property management.
