The part-time Food Service Technician role at Francis Tuttle's Reno Campus within the Culinary Operations department is vital to supporting the campus's food service teams and leadership. This role reports directly to the Executive Chef of Culinary Operations and works closely with the Kitchen Manager/Chef of Culinary at the Reno café. With an hourly wage of $13.50, this non-exempt, part-time position requires a commitment of a minimum of 20 hours per week, up to 29 hours, primarily during Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Food Service Technician plays a diverse role that includes assisting with meal preparation, setting up snack and beverage areas, executing cashier duties, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas. The position also provides clerical support to the Kitchen Manager and participates in inventory management, including receiving and storing deliveries and maintaining monthly inventory records. In addition to operational tasks, the Food Service Technician is expected to deliver exceptional customer service consistently and contribute positively to the team dynamic. The working conditions involve standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance, and operating near hot and sharp kitchen equipment. Job Requirements

  • related experience in full-service restaurants preferred
