With over 230 properties worldwide, the company is committed to its People First culture by emphasizing employee development, comprehensive benefits, and meaningful relationships. This culture is reflected in its offerings such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, on-site wellness programs, local discounts, and employee rates on hotel stays. Pyramid Global Hospitality is continuously focused on providing ongoing training and development opportunities designed to help its employees build skills and advance their careers. Whether you are a seasoned professional or starting fresh in the hospitality industry, Pyramid provides a collaborative workplace that encourages growth and nurtures success.

One of Pyramid Global Hospitality’s prestigious properties is the Colorado Springs Marriott, located near the scenic Rocky Mountains and vibrant downtown Colorado Springs, the state's second-largest city. The hotel appeals to outdoor enthusiasts thanks to its proximity to attractions like Pikes Peak and Cave of the Winds, while also offering urban experiences with nearby shops and art galleries. Featuring pet-friendly accommodations, a full-service restaurant with an inviting outdoor patio, 15 adaptable event spaces, a fitness center, and swimming pools, the property presents an exciting work environment. The Colorado Springs Marriott operates under Pyramid’s Culture of Care philosophy, emphasizing personal and professional growth while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The Food Runner, Expo, and Busser role at the Marriott Colorado Springs is a unique, combined position crucial to seamless restaurant operations. This multifaceted role entails acting as the vital connection between the kitchen and guests, ensuring dishes are delivered timely, intact, and precisely to the right guest. As an Expo, the role involves inspecting and maintaining food quality, managing ticket timing, and coordinating flow from the kitchen to the dining area. The Busser function focuses on rapid clearing and resetting tables to maintain an efficient, continuous dining rhythm. Working collaboratively with servers, bartenders, and culinary staff, the individual in this role directly influences the overall guest dining experience and restaurant efficiency.

Candidates thriving in this role are energetic, detail-oriented, team players who excel under pressure and maintain clear communication. They contribute to the fluidity of service by assisting with beverage service, managing special requests, and ensuring room service standards when applicable. This position is excellent for individuals seeking entry points into hospitality and food and beverage industries, providing foundational skills for advancement into serving, bartending, or culinary roles within the organization. Pyramid Global Hospitality values and recognizes the contributions of every team member, offering performance-based incentives, professional development, and real opportunities for career growth.

Compensation for the Food Runner, Expo, and Busser position at the Colorado Springs Marriott starts at $16.00 per hour. The company is an equal opportunity employer promoting diversity and inclusive hiring practices.
