Currently, Starwood Hotels is seeking a dedicated and attentive Food Runner to join the Food and Beverage (F&B) team at Drift, the lobby bar known for providing an exquisite dining experience. This role is critical in supporting the F&B team to ensure flawless service and guest satisfaction. The Food Runner is responsible for assisting with the delivery and clearing of food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the service area, and working closely with servers and kitchen staff to guarantee timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Those successful in this role will possess a strong passion for curating memorable guest experiences and have basic knowledge of food and beverage operations. Being detail-oriented and proactive in noticing and addressing the smallest nuances of service will be key to excelling as a Food Runner at Starwood. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- excellent interpersonal skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- physical stamina to handle the demands of the role
