The Food Runner position at Grand Living plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall dining experience within these upscale senior living communities. Reporting to the Executive Chef and Dining Room Supervisor, the Food Runner supports culinary operations across multiple dining venues including the Bistro, Casual dining areas, Formal dining rooms, Luminations memory care dining, and the Club Room. Additionally, this role is integral to the success of special events and private functions hosted by the community. The Food Runner is expected to ensure timely, courteous delivery of food to residents and guests, embodying The Sterling Touch®—a hallmark of friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged preferred
- ability to read, write, and understand the english language
- sufficient manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment and utensils
- ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull continuously without sitting for extended periods
- ability to lift or carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
- one-year fine dining or restaurant experience preferred but not required

Job Duties
- assist in the delivery of food to residents and guests in a timely manner

- assist during special events and private functions
- follow guidance from the Executive Chef and Dining Room Supervisor
- ensure compliance with community standards, processes, and procedures
- maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas as required
