The Hilton University of Florida Conference Center is currently seeking a dependable and motivated AM Food Runner to join their team. This part-time role mainly supports breakfast and lunch service during morning and early afternoon shifts. The AM Food Runner plays a critical role in delivering timely and accurate food orders from the kitchen to guests while maintaining smooth communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff. This position ensures the highest standards of food presentation and quality are met before delivery and assists servers by resetting tables and keeping the dining area clean. Additionally, the AM Food Runner refills beverages such as water and coffee as needed and adheres strictly to Hilton brand standards, food safety, and sanitation guidelines.
This position requires flexibility as shifts may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work morning and early afternoon shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to following food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience preferred, but not required
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
- Assist servers by resetting tables and maintaining dining room cleanliness
- Ensure plates are presented correctly and meet quality standards before delivery
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Refill water, coffee, and beverages as needed
- Follow Hilton brand standards, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned
