Part Time Floor Assistant / Server position at Fine Dining Sushi restaurant

Specializing exclusively in Omakase, a traditional Japanese set menu, we emphasize the importance of building meaningful relationships with our guests through the shared love of food and culture. We operate primarily from Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday openings, fostering a close-knit team environment where collaboration and passion for culinary excellence intersect.

We are currently seeking dedicated Floor Assistant / Server candidates to join our team on a part-time basis, working two days a week, specifically on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This role is an hourly-paid position starting at $30 per hour with no additional tipping. Our compensation package includes a quarterly performance evaluation for potential raises, a Simple IRA match after the first year of employment, and 50 percent employer-covered health insurance premiums following a 3-month period. As a Floor Assistant / Server at Limited Edition Sushi, you will have an opportunity to immerse yourself in the unique culture of Japanese cuisine, learn extensively about our menu and various types of Sake, and engage warmly with our valued guests in a collaborative team setting.

The ideal candidate possesses previous experience in the restaurant industry and exhibits a strong passion for learning and growing within the role. We value team players who enjoy interacting and conversing with guests, who proactively collaborate to solve problems, and who have a genuine interest in Japanese food, Sushi, Sake, and culture. While not mandatory, proficiency in speaking or reading Japanese is considered a plus. Typical job responsibilities include setting up the restaurant for opening, assisting in closing procedures, taking and delivering drink orders, serving food, removing dishes, and occasionally lifting loads of up to 30 pounds.
