Job Description

Connecticut Veterans Legal Center (CVLC) is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to providing free legal services to veterans and their families across Connecticut. The Center focuses on addressing a wide range of legal issues faced by veterans, including benefits claims, housing problems, and family law matters, ensuring that those who have served our country receive the support and advocacy they deserve. CVLC is known for its compassionate, community-oriented approach and its strong commitment to empowering veterans and their families through effective legal assistance and public education.

As a part-time Production Manager for the annual Ride for Our Vets fundraising event, this position is crucial in supporting CVLC’s mission by ensuring the smooth operation of one of its key community fundraising events. The Ride for Our Vets is a highly anticipated annual event held in Stamford, Connecticut, that brings together community members, veterans, and supporters to raise essential funds to support legal services for veterans. This role requires in-person availability on June 12 and 13 in Stamford, Connecticut, to assist with various logistical aspects and event setup.

The Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating event logistics, managing setup procedures, and ensuring all operational elements are ready for a successful event experience. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The role offers a competitive pay rate of $50 per hour plus mileage reimbursement, emphasizing the organization's respect for the candidate’s time and travel commitments.

Candidates must hold a valid Connecticut Driver's License as the role requires travel to and from the event location and potentially coordination with vendors and other stakeholders. This is a temporary, part-time opportunity ideal for individuals seeking short-term work that has a meaningful impact on the veteran community. The position offers a collaborative working environment and a chance to contribute directly to a respected nonprofit’s outreach and fundraising success. CVLC values dedication, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, making this role perfect for candidates who thrive in dynamic event management settings and who are passionate about supporting veterans’ causes.
