Job Description
Valet Living is a recognized leader in the residential services industry, specializing in doorstep waste and recycling collection for apartment communities across the United States. Established with a mission to enhance the living experience for thousands of residents, Valet Living focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable neighborhoods through innovative, reliable, and environmentally responsible services. The company is known for its community-centered approach that benefits residents by keeping their living environments tidy without the hassle of traditional waste disposal methods. Valet Living values diversity and inclusivity, strongly committing to equal opportunity employment and fostering a supportive workplace culture that encourages growth and development.
We are currently seeking dependable individuals to join our team as part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to support local apartment communities. This role offers steady evening hours with no weekend work, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking supplemental income or a second job near their home. You will be responsible for servicing one or more nearby apartment communities, ensuring that bagged trash and cardboard recycling are collected from residents’ doorsteps and properly taken to on-site compactors. This means no long-distance driving or off-site dumping, encouraging a more environmentally friendly process and community-oriented service.
This position requires your own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer to perform the job, enabling you to transport collected recyclables and waste efficiently on-site. Shift schedules typically run Sunday through Thursday, starting between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, offering approximately 10 to 15+ hours per week. Pay rates are competitive at $14.50 per hour for truck operators and $12.50 per hour for helpers. The role is designed to keep you physically active, as you will be walking the properties, climbing stairs, working outdoors, and engaging in tasks that contribute directly to improving the quality of life for apartment residents.
As a Service Valet with Valet Living, you will use a mobile app for check-ins, real-time work tracking, and photo documentation, which simplifies the daily routine and ensures accountability. The company emphasizes a fast hiring process to get you started quickly, while offering steady and reliable work with consistent pay through DailyPay, a service that provides quick access to earned wages. This flexible part-time role accommodates those balancing other commitments, making it an excellent choice for students, part-time workers, or anyone seeking additional income without sacrificing personal time or local convenience.
Valet Living also supports career growth from within; approximately 50 percent of Area Leader promotions come from current Service Valets, demonstrating promising advancement opportunities. The company fosters a safety-first environment, providing necessary safety equipment such as gloves and vests to protect employees during their shifts. You’ll also benefit from a team-oriented workplace culture where referral bonuses reward you for bringing others onboard.
Joining Valet Living means becoming part of a company that values your independence and dedication while supporting your efforts to maintain a cleaner community. If you seek a local, part-time evening job that keeps you moving, earns you extra income, and offers fast, dependable pay, this role is a perfect fit.
