Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable service company dedicated to enhancing the living environments of apartment communities by providing essential doorstep trash collection services. Established as a leader in this niche, Valet Living focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable residential areas for apartment residents across various regions. With a strong commitment to quality service and community well-being, Valet Living has developed a specialized team of Service Valets—professionals responsible for collecting bagged trash and recycling materials directly from residents' doorsteps. This unique approach not only keeps communities pristine but also contributes to an improved quality of life for residents.

The current opportunity is for a part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as a Service Valet, who will work evening shifts catering to local apartment communities. This role is ideally suited for individuals seeking steady part-time employment with flexible hours, particularly those looking for second jobs, supplemental income, or a position that fits around other personal or professional commitments. The job requires no long-distance travel or off-site dumping, making it manageable and convenient for people living near the service areas. Importantly, candidates must have their own open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer, which is essential for performing the job safely and efficiently.

As a Service Valet, you will be responsible for collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from apartment doorsteps and transporting these materials to on-site compactors within your assigned communities. Your route will be localized, servicing one or more nearby apartment complexes during each shift, typically from Sunday to Thursday, starting after 7:00 to 8:00 PM. The position requires physical activity including walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Utilizing a mobile app is also integral to your role, allowing you to check in, track your work, and provide photographic evidence when necessary.

Valet Living offers a competitive truck pay rate of $23 per hour and a consistent schedule averaging 10 to 15+ hours per week. The company emphasizes fast payment through daily pay options, ensuring financial reliability and immediacy for its employees. This role presents flexible part-time night work with no weekend obligations, making it highly suitable for people who want earnings aligned with their lifestyle. Further, employees benefit from a supportive work environment where safety equipment such as gloves, vests, and other necessary gear are provided to guarantee health and safety during operations.

Candidates who join Valet Living can anticipate opportunities for career growth since about 50 percent of Area Leader positions are filled through internal promotions. The company also offers referral bonuses to encourage community building and team enhancement. Valet Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing diversity and inclusion across all demographics, including race, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, and veteran status, ensuring a respectful and supportive workplace culture.

This role is perfect for individuals who prefer an active job that keeps them moving rather than sitting at a desk, and who want to work close to home without the complications of lengthy travel or heavy item disposal. If you're looking for a dependable part-time evening role with steady pay, fast hiring, and easy integration into your existing schedule, this Service Valet position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and livability of your local apartment communities while earning extra income.
