Job Description
Valet Living is a leading service provider dedicated to helping apartment communities maintain clean, safe, and comfortable environments for their residents. Recognized for its commitment to quality and community-focused services, Valet Living operates across various regions, delivering tailored doorstep collection services that prioritize convenience and efficiency. As a respected company in the property management and resident service sector, Valet Living has built a reputation for employing reliable, motivated individuals who play a key role in enhancing tenant satisfaction and property maintenance. This role is ideal for individuals looking for steady, part-time work in the evenings with predictable hours that fit nicely into a secondary job or a busy lifestyle.
The company is currently seeking Part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to serve nearby apartment complexes without the hassle of long-distance travel or off-site dumping. This position requires ownership of a personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer to efficiently collect and transport trash and recycling materials from resident doorsteps to on-site compactors. Pay is set at $20 per hour for truck operators, with helpers earning $18 per hour, typically offering between 10 to 15 or more hours weekly. Evening shifts run primarily from Sunday through Thursday, starting after 7 or 8 PM, providing a consistent schedule with no weekend work.
This job not only promotes an active, outdoor working lifestyle but also offers the added benefits of daily pay through services like DailyPay, quick hiring processes, and assignments close to home. The position strongly appeals to those who prefer tasks that keep them moving, such as walking properties, climbing stairs, and performing physical tasks instead of desk-bound roles. The role requires candidates to use a mobile app for work check-ins, task tracking, and photo documentation to ensure quality and transparency in service delivery.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and have a smartphone with a data plan to utilize the company app. Physical requirements include the ability to lift bags up to 50 pounds, walk long distances, and work in various weather conditions. Safety equipment, including gloves and vests, is provided to all workers to ensure health and safety standards are maintained on the job.
Valet Living emphasizes career advancement, with internal promotions playing a significant role in their leadership hiring strategies. They also offer referral bonuses, encouraging a team-oriented culture and attracting dedicated workers through word-of-mouth. As an equal opportunity employer, Valet Living upholds diversity and inclusivity in the workplace, ensuring all employees are treated fairly regardless of their background. This part-time position is perfect for individuals seeking supplementary income with flexible night hours, regular work schedules, and jobs that stay local. Overall, the Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist role at Valet Living is tailored for candidates who value autonomy, steady earnings, and contributing meaningfully to their communities’ cleanliness and safety.
