Job Description
Valet Living is a leading provider of doorstep trash and recycling collection services focused on keeping apartment communities clean, safe, and comfortable for residents. As a company dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality alongside reliable waste management, Valet Living has established itself as a trusted partner for property owners and managers across numerous regions. Their approach enhances resident satisfaction by offering convenient, consistent, and eco-friendly waste solutions that prevent clutter and improve the overall living environment.
This part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist (Service Valet) position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking steady evening work close to home without the burden of long-distance driving or off-site dumping. The role primarily involves servicing one or more nearby apartment communities within the same local area to efficiently collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents’ doorsteps. Working outdoors and staying physically active throughout the shift, specialists ensure these materials are taken to on-site compactors with care and attention to detail.
The position pays competitively with helper rates of $19 per hour and truck rates at $21 per hour. Part-time shifts typically add up to 10 to 15 plus hours weekly during Sunday through Thursday evenings, beginning after 7 or 8 PM, making it ideal for those balancing other commitments such as full-time jobs, education, or family responsibilities. Weekend work is rarely required, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
Employees are equipped with a mobile app to streamline work tracking, check-ins, and photo evidence if necessary, promoting transparency and efficient communication. In addition to competitive pay, Valet Living offers a fast payment system through DailyPay, enabling specialists to access their earnings quickly. The company also encourages career growth through internal promotions, with 50 percent of Area Leader hires originating from current employees. Referral bonuses reward team members who bring new talent on board.
Physically, the role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, walk long distances, climb several flights of stairs, and endure working in diverse weather conditions. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation preferably with an open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer, a valid driver's license and insurance, and a smartphone data plan for app use. Valet Living upholds a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunities, making it a welcoming workplace for all qualified applicants.
This position suits individuals who prefer active, independent work and want a part-time evening role that is both rewarding and flexible. If you desire to contribute to improving apartment communities’ cleanliness while earning steady supplemental income in your local neighborhood, this role offers a fitting pathway to join a reputable company with a rapid hiring process and supportive employee-friendly culture.
