The Part-Time Cook role at Legend Senior Living offers a unique opportunity to be part of a culinary team responsible for crafting nourishing, fresh meals that enhance the Gold Leaf Dining experience. The Part-Time Cook will have the chance to make a tangible difference in the daily lives of residents by preparing meals from scratch using fresh ingredients while adhering to the highest standards of food quality and safety. In addition to meal preparation, the cook will assist with serving, fulfill special dietary requests, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas, ensuring compliance with food service standards and regulations. Job Requirements
- possess a minimum of one year of experience in a commercial restaurant
- demonstrate the ability to provide the highest level of culinary service and professional interaction to our residents and associates
- work well in a fast-paced environment, be organized, flexible, and self-motivated
- be available to work evenings and weekends as needed

Job Duties
- provide hands-on assistance with the dietary needs of the residents and fulfill special meal requests when needed
- prepare meals from the menu plan and assist with the service of the meals
- maintain cleanliness of production and service areas
- inspect work, storage, preparation, and service areas to meet all applicable food service standards and regulations
- follow safe work procedures including injury prevention, food safety, and infection control
- properly label and date all food in the refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage
