Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- minimum of two years bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale environment
- high school diploma or GED
- alcohol awareness training such as TIPS or similar
- experience operating POS systems including Micros Symphony or similar
- proficiency in cash handling and customer service
- ability to work 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM shift with open availability on weekends and holidays except Christmas Day
- ability to handle physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- commitment to comply with all state and local alcoholic beverage and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale environment
- experience with POS systems such as Micros Symphony or similar platforms
- age 21 or older in compliance with alcohol service laws
- prior experience in cash handling and customer service
- ability to prepare traditional and custom drink recipes following cost guidelines and Alcoholic Beverage Control codes
- demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations in an alcohol-serving facility
- commitment to following all state and local sanitation codes
- excellent communication skills to interact professionally and resolve conflicts
- team-oriented attitude with effective collaboration skills
- strong organizational and time management skills
- attention to detail during busy shifts
- physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- high school diploma or GED

Job Duties
- Operate the bar and service customers in accordance with state and local codes and company guidelines
- welcome customers, interact, make recommendations and take food and beverage orders
- select, mix and garnish requested beverages for customers
- perform ID checks to ensure the legal age of guests
- maintain inventory and supply controls to keep the bar fully stocked
- adhere to all state and local food safety and alcoholic beverage laws
- ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions by operating the POS system correctly
- maintain clean and sanitary work areas
- develop new cocktail recipes
- prepare traditional drink recipes and customer-specific orders following cost guidelines and ABC codes
- handle difficult situations related to alcohol service
- complete all side work at the end of the shift
- record all charges accurately in the POS system and balance them at shift close
