The Barback position at WarHorse Gaming offers an exciting opportunity to join this dynamic and mission-driven company. This role is part-time, operating on swing shifts with varying schedules based on business needs, including weekends and holidays. The starting wage is competitive at $15.00 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to fairly compensating its team members.
As a Barback, you will play a critical support role in maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar while assisting bartenders in delivering outstanding guest service. This position ensures that all bar supplies, inventory levels, workstations, and sanitation protocols meet or exceed company standards and government health regulations. The Barback supports operational efficiency through timely replenishment, setup of bar stations, preparation of garnishes, and waste removal. Maintaining responsible alcohol service compliance, including certifications like S.M.A.R.T. or T.I.P.S., and adhering to internal controls and policies is essential to the role.
Working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, the Barback must exhibit strong teamwork, communication skills, and a commitment to upholding the values and vision of WarHorse Gaming. The role involves physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and the ability to work amidst noise and environmental challenges typical of a vibrant gaming establishment. This position is ideal for individuals at least 19 years old, with a high school diploma or GED, who show dedication to guest service excellence and are comfortable using mobile devices and touchscreen technology.

Job Duties
- Stock and maintain bar areas with required supplies, inventory, ice, and service materials
- assist bartenders by replenishing products and supporting daily operational needs
- set up bar stations for service including preparing garnishes, cutting fruit, stocking ice, and removing waste
- maintain par levels of inventory and assist with ordering, receiving, and delivering supplies
- sort bottles and cardboard for recycling and proper disposal
- ensure bar cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained in accordance with health department regulations
- report maintenance concerns and equipment issues to leadership promptly
- comply with all department policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- maintain compliance with responsible alcohol service requirements including S.M.A.R.T. or T.I.P.S. training standards
- deliver outstanding guest and team member service at all times
- maintain a professional, neat, and clean appearance
- perform other duties as assigned
