Job Description
The Parking Spot has established itself as the largest near-airport parking company in the United States with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. With over 2,000 dedicated team members spread across more than 40 locations nationwide, The Parking Spot offers reliable and convenient parking solutions primarily for travelers looking for safe and accessible parking options near airports. The company fosters a unique culture of employee ownership, enabling team members to gain a direct financial stake in the company’s success through its Employee Ownership Program. This program reflects the company’s commitment to building a motivated and engaged workforce united by shared goals and values. The Parking Spot prides itself on delivering exceptional service to its guests and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for all employees and customers.
The role of the Parking Guest Attendant (PGA) is integral to The Parking Spot’s operations. PGAs serve as primary points of contact for guests during both the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for every visitor. This position requires individuals who are personable, professional, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. PGAs are responsible for greeting guests warmly, assisting with entry and exit procedures, providing information about the company’s TPS Spot Club program, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in their designated work areas. The role also involves communication duties such as answering telephones and helping customers navigate the company’s mobile services and kiosks, highlighting the importance of technological fluency in this position.
The work environment demands adaptability as PGAs must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and capable of standing for extended periods during their shifts. Additionally, the role occasionally involves lifting items weighing up to 30 pounds safely, either with or without accommodation. The Parking Spot offers a competitive hourly pay rate starting at $12.50, with regular bonus opportunities to reward outstanding performance. The company also emphasizes professional development, offering training programs and opportunities for advancement within the organization. Eligible employees can access comprehensive benefits such as medical, vision, dental coverage, 401(k) retirement plans, paid time off, vacation pay, and paid holidays.
This position is available for all shifts and operates on an on-call basis, making it an ideal fit for individuals seeking flexible work arrangements without compromising on the quality and importance of their contribution to the guest experience. The Parking Spot is committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in its workforce. The company actively celebrates differences and promotes an equitable environment where all employees and customers feel respected, valued, and supported. By joining The Parking Spot as a Parking Guest Attendant, candidates become part of a company that values community, teamwork, and the delivery of exceptional service, all while enjoying the tangible benefits of shared ownership and an inclusive culture. Individuals passionate about serving others and thriving in a dynamic, guest-focused environment will find this role both rewarding and fulfilling.
