Job Description
The Parking Spot is a leading company in the near-airport parking industry in the United States, with more than 25 years of experience and over 40 nationwide locations. With more than 2,000 dedicated team members, The Parking Spot has established itself as the largest near-airport parking provider in the country. The company prides itself on its Employee Ownership Program, which allows every team member to have a direct financial stake in the company's success, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability. This program empowers all employees to contribute meaningfully toward delivering exceptional service to guests across the entire network of The Parking Spot locations.
The role of Parking Guest Attendant (PGA) at The Parking Spot is pivotal to the company's operations. As a PGA, you will be the first point of contact for guests during their parking experience, ensuring a welcoming, friendly, and efficient check-in and check-out process. This full-time, swing shift position offers a competitive pay rate of $18.42 per hour along with regular bonus opportunities. The role demands a high level of customer service and communication skills as you will assist guests at entry and exit lanes, respond to inquiries over the phone and through mobile devices, and provide important information about the company’s loyalty program, the TPS Spot Club. Safe operations and maintaining neat work areas are also essential aspects of the job.
The position also emphasizes partnership and collaboration with fellow team members to deliver the best guest experience possible. Candidates must be comfortable using technology including Apple iPhone or iPad devices and kiosks, as well as adapting to technological upgrades. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for most of the shift and safely lift up to 30 pounds. The role requires working in outdoor conditions, including inclement weather, reflecting the hands-on nature of this important customer-facing job.
The Parking Spot is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment where diversity is celebrated. The company values employees and customers from all backgrounds and actively works to ensure every person is treated with dignity and respect. They promote equal opportunity and strive to build diverse teams and relationships within the organization. This commitment makes The Parking Spot not only a leader in parking services but also a forward-thinking employer dedicated to growth, learning, and continuous improvement.
If you value teamwork, excellent customer service, and a workplace that honors diversity and employee participation in ownership, the Parking Guest Attendant role at The Parking Spot presents an ideal opportunity. The company also offers consistent schedules, professional development and training opportunities, and comprehensive benefits for eligible employees including medical, vision, dental, 401(k) plans, paid holidays, and vacation pay. This role offers a chance to join a stable, respected company with a rich history and a strong focus on employee engagement and guest satisfaction.
