Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. or more
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Willingness to complete training if needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience is a plus
- ServSafe certification is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods
- Team player mindset
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Job Duties
- Maintain clean, sanitary and organized work area
- Prepare all food items, cold and hot, according to Chef's recipes and techniques
- Complete meal prep activities before guests arrive, including chopping, stocking and storing back up items
- Perform proper plating, including portions, temperatures, and garnishment
- Communicate well with team members and supervisors in a potentially noisy environment
- Multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment
- Stand for long periods of time
- Lift and carry 25 lbs. or more
- Assist with storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and reduce waste
- Assist Chef with inventory
- Clean and sanitize work station, equipment, refrigerators, storage areas, and floors at end of shift
