As a Package Valet at URBN Playground, you will play a crucial role in managing all packages and deliveries for residents while maintaining a neat and organized package room. This position is essential in ensuring that residents receive their parcels promptly and in excellent condition, contributing to their overall satisfaction. The role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate package tracking software efficiently. You will be responsible for logging all arriving and distributed packages and dry cleaning items, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the package room reflects the company's standards of organization and professionalism.

In addition to package handling, the Package Valet must work quickly and safely, adhering to all safety procedures to protect themselves and the residents' belongings. Handling personal and private items with discretion and professionalism is paramount in this position. Effective communication and teamwork are also critical, as you will collaborate with other team members and residents regularly. The position offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant community setting where your role directly impacts the daily lives of residents by providing seamless package management.

Job Duties

  • Execute stellar customer service in interactions with residents and fellow team members
  • Immediately greet persons upon arrival to your work space, using their name whenever possible
  • Accurately log arriving and distributed packages and dry cleaning using the building’s tracking software
  • Maintain/update inventory of package room
  • Lift and move packages
  • Work quickly and efficiently while adhering to safety standards
  • Process workload with minimal supervision
  • Ensure packages are not damaged throughout the process
  • Communicate effectively with relevant personnel to carry out tasks
  • Label packages correctly
  • Sort packages according to location
  • Ensure package room remains tidy and well organized
  • Be discreet and professional, as you will be handling personal private items and information
