Job Requirements
- Two years of college
- or one year's retail experience and one year's supervisory experience
- or two years' general work experience and one year's supervisory experience
- successful completion of firearms-specific criminal background check and firearms authorized training for certain facilities
- attendance and successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments
- eligibility to work in the United States
- ability to comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications

- bachelor of science in business management and leadership preferred
- work experience supervising five or more direct reports
- experience in performance management, mentoring, hiring and firing
- successful completion of job-required trainings and assessments
Job Duties
- Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training and actively listening to associates
- tour stores and provide feedback using Tour-to-Teach methods
- communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations
- model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards following the One Best Way (OBW) service model
- manage and support customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs
- resolve customer needs, complaints and issues successfully
- review and evaluate profit and loss statements and drive financial performance
- assist in budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses to meet sales and profit goals
- monitor merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow and operational processes
- develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink
- hire, train and mentor hourly associates
- assign duties, set clear expectations and provide recognition
- promote a belonging mindset in the workplace
- coordinate job-related activities and assignments
- develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
- identify and communicate goals and objectives
