This position is for a Store Manager role based in Waco, Texas, with an annual salary range of $65,000 to $100,000, complemented by performance-based bonuses and additional compensation opportunities such as regional pay differentials. The Store Manager leads and develops store teams by providing coaching, training, and active listening to associates, ensuring that operational goals and customer service objectives are met. A key focus of the role is to implement company strategies and change initiatives, driving financial performance through effective management of sales, profit and loss statements, budgets, and expense controls. The manager is responsible for maintaining optimal merchandise presentation and inventory flow, managing shrink, and achieving sales objectives. This leadership role demands high standards of customer service following Walmart's One Best Way service model and involvement in community outreach programs.

The Store Manager supports associate growth through hiring, mentoring, and development opportunities, promoting a strong workplace culture based on respect and inclusion. Job Requirements

  • 2 years' of college or 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience or 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience
  • Successful completion of firearms-specific background check and training if applicable
  • Ability to attend and complete all required job trainings and assessments
  • Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to change

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership preferred
  • Certificate in People and Business Leadership preferred
  • Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports
  • Proven ability in performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence
  • Ability to drive financial results and operational effectiveness
