Job Description
The Parking Spot is a well-established company with over 25 years of experience, recognized as the largest near-airport parking company in the United States. With more than 2,000 valued team members operating across 40 locations nationwide, The Parking Spot has built a reputation for exceptional customer service and employee ownership. The company proudly offers an Employee Ownership Program, which grants every team member a direct financial stake in the company's success, promoting a strong sense of community and shared accomplishment among employees. This culture of ownership fosters a motivating work environment where team members actively contribute to providing exceptional service to guests across the country.
The role of Shuttle Driver (Non-CDL), specifically for overnight shifts on a part-time basis, is a vital part of The Parking Spot's operational team. Shuttle Drivers provide safe and courteous transportation of customers between parking facilities and airport terminals, helping ensure a seamless travel experience for airport guests. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $16.15 per hour plus tips in cash and mobile formats, along with regular bonus opportunities. The role appeals to individuals who value teamwork, reliability, and excellent customer service.
Shuttle Drivers at The Parking Spot are expected to uphold the highest safety standards by following all safe driving practices while transporting up to 15 passengers. Part of the responsibilities includes performing required pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety. The drivers’ role goes beyond transportation; it involves greeting customers warmly, assisting with luggage, and delivering a pleasant customer experience reflective of the company's values.
Additionally, Shuttle Drivers are encouraged to develop their knowledge of the facility and airport terminals and cooperate fully with other team members to drive operational excellence. Opportunities for cross-training in other frontline positions allow employees to diversify skills and grow professionally. Compliance with all applicable rules governing commercial vehicle operation is mandatory, and drivers must meet licensing and physical requirements as regulated by federal, state, and airport authorities.
Working at The Parking Spot presents numerous benefits beyond competitive wages. Eligible employees can participate in medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) plan benefits, with paid time off, vacation pay, and paid holidays available to those who qualify. The company fosters a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment where all employees, partners, and customers are welcomed and valued, actively standing against racism and discrimination. This commitment ensures that the workplace remains respectful and supportive, reflecting The Parking Spot’s dedication to its community and the travelers it serves.
Joining The Parking Spot as a Shuttle Driver offers not just a job but an opportunity to be part of a committed community dedicated to service excellence, employee ownership, and continuous personal and professional development. If you share these values and seek a role that offers stability, growth opportunities, and meaningful work, this part-time overnight Shuttle Driver position could be an excellent fit for you.
