As a Housekeeping Lobby Attendant at Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the utmost standards of cleanliness and aesthetics within the hotel’s lobby and public areas. This position is vital in creating a welcoming and pristine environment, helping ensure guests enjoy an exceptional first impression and overall experience throughout their stay. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the lobby, vacuuming, dusting, polishing mirrors and furniture, cleaning floors, ashtrays, elevators and doors free of marks, as well as managing trash removal and restocking supplies. Moreover, the role involves responding promptly and courteously to any guest inquiries or requests encountered in the lobby area. The ideal candidate possesses a friendly and outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and a strong dedication to providing superior customer service. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services a plus
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to perform physical tasks including standing and walking for long periods
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment

Job Duties

  • ensure cleanliness and appearance of the hotel lobby and public areas
  • vacuum and dust all lobby spaces

  • restock lobby supplies
  • respond to guest requests and inquiries courteously
  • maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with guests
