Job Description
Banner Health is a leading nonprofit health system committed to improving healthcare and making life better for the communities it serves. With a mission to make healthcare easier and more accessible, Banner Health encompasses a network of hospitals, specialty clinics, and outpatient services across multiple states. Banner Health is well known for its dedication to patient care, innovation, and community wellness. One of its prominent facilities is the Banner North Colorado Medical Center - Loveland Campus, a specialty hospital that offers extensive inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services. Located in Loveland, Colorado, just 45 minutes north of Denver, this center is part of a vibrant region characterized by beautiful natural scenery, including wildflower-filled meadows, the Rocky Mountains, and numerous outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and boating. The campus specializes in many advanced surgical procedures including robotic surgery, orthopedic and robotic knee replacement surgery, oncologic surgery, and others. It also offers comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, and a range of specialty care and diagnostic clinics, with a strong focus on high-quality patient care and the integration of the latest technological advances.
The role of Physical Therapist at Banner North Colorado Medical Center is a rewarding and pivotal position within the hospital's outpatient rehabilitation therapy clinic. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional focused on delivering personalized patient care, particularly serving an adult population with orthopedic and neurological conditions. The position demands a deep commitment to evaluating, planning, and administering physical therapy treatments in accordance with physician referrals and regulatory standards. The role is characterized by a patient-centered approach, requiring the therapist to develop comprehensive treatment plans that consider physical, social, cultural, spiritual, educational, and age-related needs. Therapists will thoroughly evaluate patient functional abilities and limitations, establish measurable and functional goals, and collaborate with patients and families throughout the treatment and discharge planning processes. This role operates within a multidisciplinary team environment, encouraging teamwork and communication across various healthcare disciplines to optimize patient outcomes. Physical Therapists in this role benefit from a balanced Monday through Friday work schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, with no weekends or on-call duties, allowing for a supportive work-life balance. Banner Health offers an estimated pay range of $39.00 to $65.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications, along with opportunities for loan forgiveness eligibility through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. The organization values diversity, equitable pay practices, and a drug-free workplace, fostering an inclusive and professional environment for its employees. Banner Health also emphasizes continuous professional development and community engagement, inviting Physical Therapists to contribute to process improvements and participate in training and orientation activities within the department. The role offers a chance to work in a scenic and culturally rich region while being part of a respected health system dedicated to innovative care and patient well-being.
