Job Requirements

  • Valid TABC certification
  • Valid Food Handlers certification
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, kneel, reach overhead, lift up to 30lb
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, noisy, and extreme temperature environments
  • Capability to engage in clear one-on-one communication
  • Ability to operate 2-way radios
  • Good vision to read instructions and reports
  • Literacy to analyze and communicate written information
  • Safe handling of chemicals according to regulations
  • Scheduled availability for varied days and hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of high level, fine dining restaurant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience
  • Strong knowledge of wine and spirits
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong guest service and human relations skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Working knowledge of POS system preferably InfoGenesis
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications, Open Table, Excel and Ultipro
  • Willingness to take a hands-on approach to achieve departmental goals
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Ensure effective working relationships and clear communication with colleagues and leaders in the outlets and other departments
  • Critically assess procedures, policies, and methods of operation and implement them
  • Monitor productivity, revenues, and costs to ensure financial success of the department
  • Liaise with kitchen to ensure a common vision is shared
  • Create and implement all beverage menus and collaborate with kitchen on special occasion food menus
  • Coordinate with other Food and Beverage departments to share resources and operate as a unified division
  • Maintain equipment, fixtures, and furniture in good repair and safety compliance
  • Develop and maintain safety culture and ensure adherence to health and safety standards
  • Manage successful seasonal transitions of all outlets
  • Be familiar with all outlet menus and beverage lists
  • Perform other duties as assigned
