Job Description

Fooda is a leading technology-driven food service company that believes workplace food programs should be more than just meals—they should be experiences that employees love and look forward to every day. With a robust network of over 2,000 restaurants, Fooda revolutionizes how people eat at work by providing diverse and high-quality food options directly within office spaces and corporate environments. Operating in over 20 major US cities with ongoing expansion across the United States, Fooda consistently delivers fresh, chef-prepared meals that represent a wide array of culinary styles and choices. Eight out of ten employees agree that Fooda is one of their company’s top perks, highlighting the company’s commitment to enhancing employee satisfaction and workplace culture.

Fooda is currently seeking a part-time Event Coordinator for the Tulsa market. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in hospitality or events to dive into the food service industry while working closely with an extensive network of local restaurants and dynamic clients. The position is part-time and focused on supporting a busy Fooda client location in Tulsa. The role demands a hands-on, hospitality-minded individual who thrives in a high-energy, outdoor, and fast-paced environment. Candidates will be actively engaged in the setup, operation, and breakdown of Fooda events, ensuring that each day’s food service runs smoothly while providing an exceptional customer experience.

The Event Coordinator will be responsible for managing the logistics of an active service area that often resembles a construction site, so comfort with standing on feet for extended periods and navigating an outdoor environment is crucial. The job requires multitasking and problem-solving abilities as the coordinator supports restaurant partners, addresses any onsite challenges related to equipment or services, maintains cleanliness and organization, and fosters a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Flexibility is essential, as the position involves varying shift schedules primarily between two windows: an early breakfast shift from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and a lunch shift from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

This position is ideal for a proactive individual who notices details without prompting and who maintains composure under pressure. A strong communicator comfortable with technology will quickly learn Fooda’s systems and standard operating procedures, driving efficiency and consistency across daily events. Previous experience in restaurant, catering, serving, banquet, event, food service, or hospitality settings is highly preferred, providing a foundation to excel in this fast-moving, rewarding, and impactful role. Compensation ranges from $20 to $23 per hour based on experience, reflecting Fooda’s commitment to competitive pay. Additional benefits include free food during shifts, paid time off, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, and encouraging long-term career growth within the company. This role not only offers a chance to work in an exciting and rewarding environment but also the unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships with local restaurant partners and company clients, contributing to Fooda’s mission to transform workplace dining experiences.
