Job Description
Conagra Brands is a leading food manufacturing company with a rich heritage of creating iconic and beloved food products. Known for bringing quality and innovation to kitchens across the country, Conagra has built its reputation through its commitment to delivering superior taste and convenience. With a workforce exceeding 18,000 team members spread across more than 40 locations, Conagra fosters an inclusive, energized culture that values diversity and innovation. They are dedicated to creating an environment where employees can thrive professionally and personally, and where integrity, teamwork, and operational excellence drive every aspect of their business.
As a major player in the food processing and manufacturing industry, Conagra Brands produces well-known products under respected brands like Birds Eye, Slim Jim, and Reddi-Wip. The company embraces sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives, making a meaningful impact on the communities they serve and the environment. At Conagra, employees are empowered to reach their potential and make a lasting impact on the organization and their careers.
The role of Production Supervisor at Conagra Brands involves leading the first-shift production team within a dynamic food manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor plays a vital role in driving process improvements, achieving production KPIs, and fostering a safety-first, quality-driven, cost-conscious, and engaged culture. This position requires hands-on leadership to guide daily production operations, allocate resources efficiently, and support a workplace that emphasizes operational excellence.
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee multiple production lines within your designated cell to ensure standards for quality, productivity, and cost control are consistently met or exceeded. You will be responsible for training and developing production team members to ensure effective job performance, as well as supporting sanitation efforts that maintain a clean and food-safe facility. Enforcing plant policies and procedures uniformly is critical to maintaining compliance and operational integrity.
You will also play a key role in coaching and reviewing team performance to support continuous improvement and professional growth. Ensuring strict adherence to safety programs, including lockout/tagout procedures, use of personal protective equipment, and confined space safety guidelines, is a priority in this role. Identifying and resolving production bottlenecks in collaboration with your team helps promote operational efficiency and sustainable improvements.
The role demands hands-on leadership in executing quality standards and regulatory compliance while leading root cause analysis projects and Kaizen events aimed at fostering continuous process enhancements. The position is onsite and offers an annual base salary ranging from $81,000 to $93,000, reflecting the candidate’s experience, skills, and location. Conagra Brands promotes a workplace culture that values flexibility, inclusivity, and respect and encourages candidates willing to work weekends and flexible hours to apply.
Joining Conagra Brands as a Production Supervisor means becoming part of a forward-looking company that strives to blend heritage and innovation in food manufacturing. You will work with a team committed to high performance, sustainability, and making a tangible impact on both products and people. The company’s benefits package includes comprehensive healthcare plans, wellness incentives, competitive pay with bonus opportunities, 401(k) matching, career development programs, and paid time off, making it an attractive place to grow your career while maintaining work-life balance.
