Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of related work experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts including day, swing and graveyard shifts
- Ability to work weekends
- Knowledge of FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations
- Strong leadership abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Valid work authorization to work in the USA
Job Qualifications
- Two to three years of related work experience
- Problem solving and leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and lead others to obtain desired results and achieve productivity goals
- Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA and EPA regulations
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
Job Duties
- Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed and that all delivery times are being met timely
- Conduct daily work group meetings
- Schedule and control staff to meet labor productivity and overtime targets
- Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards including FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, HACCP
- Document and follow up on all department processes in order to implement improvements
- Ensure on-time and accurate production and/or catering of all flights
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Guide, motivate and develop staff within the Human Resources policies
- Make the companys values and management principles live in the departments
- Manage productivity hours and costs in the area of responsibility and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur
- Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety and Production systems
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary
