This brand specializes in extended-stay accommodations, offering spacious suites with fully equipped kitchens designed to give travelers the comforts of home while on the road. Located at 1725 Richard Petty Blvd, Daytona Beach, Florida, Residence Inn caters to both business and leisure travelers seeking a welcoming and convenient lodging option. Marriott International is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace that promotes equal opportunity and fosters a culture where associates from varied backgrounds can thrive. They emphasize a welcoming environment that values diversity and celebrates the unique perspectives of their team members.
This full-time, non-management position within the Rooms and Guest Services Operations category focuses on delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced hotel setting. Working at Residence Inn means engaging with guests who often stay for extended periods, which allows you to build meaningful relationships and provide personalized service that meets their unique needs. The role involves managing guest check-in and check-out processes, coordinating with various hotel departments like housekeeping and bell services to promptly address guest requests, and ensuring that operational procedures comply with company standards. You will be responsible for handling guest accounts, making sure that charges from amenities such as the gym or retail outlets are appropriately billed to room accounts.
Additionally, the role supports management in training, evaluating, and motivating team members while upholding the company’s commitment to a professional and polished appearance and secure handling of proprietary information. As part of the team, you will be expected to maintain positive workplace relationships, adhere to safety protocols, report any unsafe conditions, and be a role model for excellent service and operational compliance. The position requires standing or walking for extended periods and the physical capability to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The job offers an opportunity to develop your career within the Marriott family while contributing to an exceptional guest experience environment where team collaboration and individualized guest attention are paramount.
Residence Inn by Marriott not only focuses on hospitality excellence but is also deeply committed to the growth of its employees, encouraging ongoing professional development and providing opportunities to learn and advance. By joining their team, you become part of a global community that supports your path toward becoming the best version of yourself. The culture here goes beyond typical hospitality roles; it’s about forming connections, making a difference in guests’ lives, and contributing to a brand that stands for quality and care. If you are passionate about guest service, teamwork, and working in a dynamic and inclusive environment, this role at Residence Inn by Marriott in Daytona Beach is an excellent fit for you.
