Additionally, the Operations Manager plays a key role in overseeing critical hotel departments such as Food & Beverage and Refresh operations to ensure all aspects meet brand standards and operational efficiency. The role requires a keen eye for detail with cleanliness, condition standards, inventory regulation, and guest room experience being paramount. They are expected to facilitate a vibrant hotel ambiance, maintaining the hotel’s vibe with appropriate music, lighting, and overall atmosphere.

Guest satisfaction is placed at the forefront, with the Operations Manager taking a hands-on approach to resolve complaints, conduct investigations, and negotiate optimal solutions in collaboration with guests. The role demands calmness, vigilance, and professionalism, particularly in emergency situations or during high-activity periods at the hotel. From a leadership perspective, the Operations Manager chairs and participates in multiple departmental meetings, supporting a collaborative and coordinated approach to hotel management.

Candidates for this role are expected to be knowledgeable in hotel operations and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities with an ability to work independently and within teams. Basic computational and computer skills are also essential to manage reports and communications effectively.
