The Operations Manager position at Nu Stadium is a pivotal leadership role within Delaware North Sportservice. This full-time position offers an anticipated base salary range of $66,300 to $89,500 per year, complemented by an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based uncapped sales incentive plan. The Operations Manager will oversee both concessions and commissary operations, ensuring that all products and services meet strict quality, safety, and sanitation standards. This role requires someone with extensive experience in high-volume hospitality environments, preferably within sports and entertainment sectors, who can manage and develop a diverse team.

The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of all concessions and commissary activities at Nu Stadium, playing a critical role in contributing to the growth and profitability of the business. They will implement service and management philosophies that promote accountability, exceptional guest service, and team member development. In addition to operational oversight, the manager will handle scheduling, training, policy enforcement, inventory and cost control, and waste management. They will also engage with clients to ensure alignment with company standards and continuously research and develop new policies to elevate the guest experience.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum seven years experience in a high-volume environment preferably in sports and entertainment
  • Strong concessions and commissary knowledge and previous experience supervising
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Valid work authorization for employment in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum seven years experience in a high-volume environment preferably in sports and entertainment
  • Strong concessions and commissary knowledge and previous experience supervising
  • Experience in effectively leading a team and commitment to guest service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable and able to manage their own time as well as the time of others

Job Duties

  • Contribute to the growth and profitability of the business with management oversight for day-to-day operations managing all concessions and commissary operations at the location ensuring quality standards are maintained in terms of product service safety and sanitation
  • Implement and maintain a service and management philosophy that guides team members
  • Responsible for scheduling training and development of team members
  • Maintain policy standards culture of accountability and responsibility
  • Research and develop new policies and procedures controlling policies that elevate service standards
  • Respond to client requests and ensure alignment with company standards
  • Manage the process for ordering and maintaining all inventories cost control efforts for labor and waste management
