The role of Operations Manager - Food & Beverage is pivotal to the success of our hospitality services. This full-time exempt position involves directing and organizing all activities within the Food and Beverage Department to deliver consistently high-quality food and beverage products. You will be responsible for managing a diverse team across all F&B outlets, including the restaurant, bar, room service, market, and banquet operations. Your leadership will be key in developing team members, driving motivation, ensuring operational compliance, and meeting budgetary objectives. The role also demands a proactive approach in enhancing guest satisfaction and creating an upbeat work environment.
This position requires at least five years of progressive experience within hotels or related hospitality sectors. Candidates should have a minimum two-year college degree with relevant work experience or a four-year degree, or a Culinary Degree with progressive hotel experience. Certification in Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid is mandatory, along with proficiency in Windows operating systems and office software.

Job Requirements
- Must hold food handlers, alcohol awareness, CPR and first aid certification
- Must be proficient in windows operating systems and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing
- Must have extensive experience in restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, in-room dining and kitchen management
- Must possess strong communication skills
- Must work well under high-pressure situations

Job Qualifications
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- 2-year college degree with 3 or more years of related experience or 4-year college degree with 1 to 2 years of related experience or Culinary Degree with 1 to 2 years of progressive experience
- Holds and maintains certification in Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid
- Proficient in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets and word processing
- Extensive experience in restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, in-room dining and kitchen management
- Strong communication skills including speaking, reading, and writing
- Ability to evaluate and select alternatives quickly and accurately
- Able to maintain composure under pressure
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze complex information, financial data, and make budgetary judgments
- Knowledge of hotel organization and departmental functions
- Skilled in budgeting, labor management, purchasing and forecasting
- Excellent technological acumen
Job Duties
- Organizing, directing, supervising and assisting in food and beverage preparation and service for all outlets
- Ensuring cleanliness, sanitation and safety in kitchens, service stations, front and back of house areas
- Minimizing waste and maximizing cost and production ratio
- Planning meals and services while directing the chef on assignments including pricing and banquets
- Providing oversight of the kitchen staff, food outlets, banquet food display merchandising and operations of kitchen, service, beverage and banquet departments
